Full Job Description
The renowned Butler Hospital is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the collaborative, multidisciplinary team of Physicians, APRNs, and Physician Assistants providing medical care at an organization with a long-respected history.
About the Opportunity
- Monday – Friday, 10 – 12 patients per day, no call or weekends
- Perform admission history and physical exams for patients admitted to inpatient units and substance abuse partial hospital program
- Perform consultations upon request for evaluation and management of acute and chronic medical issues
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies as required for patient care
- Assist in management of urgent medical situations and participate in the medical emergency response team
- Collaborate with psychiatric, medical, and nursing staff to ensure timely and appropriate care of all patients
- Strong clinical skills with a broad foundation of general medical knowledge and ability to work independently
- At least 1 year of experience preferred

Butler Hospital
